Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange’s (Tadawul) ended Thursday’s trading session with mixed performance.

The benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) went up by 0.38%, or 33.26 points, ending the session at 8,819 points.

TASI’s turnover jumped to SAR 4 billion on Thursday, from SAR 2.56 billion on Wednesday, while trading volume levelled up to 135.18 million shares, compared to 89.88 million shares in the previous session.

The transportation sector topped the risers adding 1.1%, followed by the telecommunication and software sectors with 1.08% and 1.06%, respectively.

On the flip side, the banking sector headed the decliners falling 0.67%, while the insurance sector plunged with 0.4%.  

Meanwhile, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, NOMU, went down 0.17%, or 6.55 points, reaching 3,803.21 points.
